About Me

An Ordinary Adventure

About a year has passed since I started this blog and I am pleased to write that my About Me section is out of date. After a year of what felt less like an adventure and more like an epic battle I have come to realize that I no longer desire living the lives of many very different people. I have seen much this year and learned that regardless of the particulars of anyone's life, we are all the same. Picking up what I have gained from mental and spiritual battery I venture forth to see how the story of my life will continue to unfold.

It's been weeks since I have recorded a journal entry. My usual media is paper, the voice recorder on my cell phone, or even video recordings on my laptop. but weariness of the contents of my own thoughts and that content being read by those I know led me to halt my journal binging. Now that some time has passed the need to transmit what is in my mind to those able to understand has grown. So I am posting my thoughts to the world anonymously and waiting. It will be very interesting to see who my signal is picked up by if anyone at all.

A fantasy of mine has been to live the lives of many very different people all in one lifetime. Different races, nationalities, occupations, genders, ages you name it, for a few years at a time, all the while keeping my identity and ability to be different people secret from most. Posting an anonymous blog is probably as close as I am ever going to come to experiencing such a fantasy. I realize the irony in an honest blog which fulfills a fantasy of fake identities, but somehow that only makes this all the more interesting for me.

My hope in this endeavor is, as always, to have an adventure in an otherwise ordinary life.
